Do you ever feel like something is taking forever to get done? You have a timeline, and things are making it take longer. Why?
We could blame several things: the manufacturer not getting you the material you need, people being sick and not showing up, finances not being there, or any number of other reasons.
In the scripture, it says, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8
What, how is that? In a Bible Study, the pastor said, “1 hour for us is equal to, are you ready for this? 41.66 years in the Lord.
It is 41 years, 7 months, 28 days, 1 hour, 26 minutes, and 24 seconds. This is mind-blowing, but then think of this: “A minute is then 8.33 months long.”
So, when you feel like the Lord isn’t moving or things are not lining up like you would want, maybe, just maybe, God is working on something much bigger, needs others to help, and needs certain things to line up. Or maybe He is protecting you for something.
Pause and ponder today.
