Where are you, God? We all ask this at one time or another in our life. Why are you allowing this to happen to me? Do you see this, Lord?
This has happened since Adam and Eve. They walked with God in the garden. They had fellowship with him. (Us before being born).
God gave them instructions on how to live and let them alone for a time—giving them the free will to choose. So, He has done with us. As we live life, we do know right from wrong. Yet sometimes we choose wrong and want to know, where are you, God?
I believe He was there and saw it all. He will not interfere with our free will to choose Him or what the world offers, as He did not for Adam and Eve. He never turns his back on us. He stands back and waits for us to just look at Him. God brings comfort to us when we do turn.
This is the hard part. Our choices have consequences, and we may not like what we must walk through because of our choices. God can be beside you and give you the strength to walk it out.
God made Adam and Eve clothes, yet they had to leave the garden.
We all have choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 states… “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Choose wisely.
