Years ago, I was asked by a lady to pray for her and her children. She asked because a friend of mine had told her to ask. See, she said Mary’s prayers work.
During our conversation, I shared with her the simplicity of prayer. It’s not about having a direct line to God but about the act of praying itself. As James 4:2 in the Bible reminds us, we often lack because we fail to ask. This simple act of asking through prayer can profoundly change our lives.
So, as you walk out the rest of your days, you wonder why things are not going how you want. Are you praying?
