Greetings,
So, how bright is your light? Better yet, what light are you following?
Your light? This light is all about your work and what you are doing: making the next dollar, getting the next promotion, and working for a living to keep up with the Joneses. (That statement may age me, but it means trying to keep up with your neighbors.)
Someone you believe in those who will inspire you to succeed if you do what they tell you. It could be someone who has reached the top of a company. I want to or feel you need to recreate what they are doing so you succeed.
Maybe you aren’t following any light. You are just going about the day to punch a clock, doing what is expected and necessary to live.
Psalms 119:105 reminds us: ‘Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.’ In other words, God’s light guides us, illuminating our way in times of darkness and uncertainty. Trust in His guidance, and you will never walk alone.
The only light we need to follow is the light shining from the Bible. Notice it doesn’t tell you the steps or the whole path. A thick fog would be a good analogy. You are on the road, but you are not sure what is ahead of you. You know your destination.
Following the right light, others will also see and follow the correct one.
