Have you ever had a question before God in prayer and not heard an answer?
I have done so in the past and have several currently. This is the process I go through when that happens.
First, I check my relationship with God. Do I have something in between us? Looking at my heart and life, do I have unconfessed sin? Yes, a Christian does sin every day until we enter heaven. Jesus was the only perfect one to walk in this world. (More maybe later). Rev 2:4
What are my motives for this prayer? Is it selfish gain, a need, or a want? Why am I praying this way? Also, look how you are asking. Reword and ponder your requests before God. James 4:3
Example: Why is this happening to me? Maybe it should be worded, “What do you want me to learn, Lord?”
There is the timing of your prayer. The answer may be yes, no, or wait. No or wait is usually different from what we want to hear. Your timing of the question may require others to hear from God so both of you can see His hand on your life.
