The statement “The devil made me do it” was said by Flip Wilson back in the 70s. But can the devil make me do anything?
In thinking about this statement, you must realize it all starts with a thought or conversation (Eve and the serpent).
So we are to renew our minds. Romans 12:2 KJV states this: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
It all starts with the mind. To be transformed, you can only happen by what you allow into your mind, what you think about.
When we think about the things of God, we will not be conformed to this world. We will be able to see things the way God does. We will see what is good, perfect, and acceptable in God’s eyes.
Don’t stop there; you will start to see the will of God for your life to open to you. This will change how you walk out today and treat others, along with the joy of the Lord in your heart.
It all starts with a simple thought. So, what are you thinking about? Does it line up with God’s word or your will?
Let this not only affect how you think but also settle deep down into your heart. This is where the miracles of the Lord happen. So, as you renew your mind, take responsibility for what you do and then watch what the Lord does through your life.
IN HIM
