Spring ahead, but not ahead of God

We moved our clocks ahead last night for daylight savings time. This whole spring and what it does to my body clock are overrated.

As I think about the springing ahead, it makes me remember when God showed me about Titus and having a singles ministry in 1997. I was learning my walk with God, so I started making plans without much prayer or talking to God about what it would look like.

Have you ever done that? Do or say something without thinking the whole thing through?

I ended up taking a step back. It wasn’t God’s timing. It was mine.

When we lose that hour of sleep, we are playing catch-up all day. Clearly, since I usually get this posted way before now, it is one of those days.

The good thing to remember is that God is always on time—never late, yet never early. He is our provider and will always be beside us, even when we are running behind.

Psalm 31:15 states so, my times are in your hands. Do you trust Him? Or are you running ahead or falling behind? He will not run to catch up with you. He expects us to slow down and come to Him. When we fall behind, He is waiting for us.

He loves you even when you don’t feel like He should or don’t believe He can.

JESUS LOVES YOU THIS I KNOW, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.
