Have you ever had a day where you are so overwhelmed by life you don’t know what to do? If you’re feeling this way, you’re not alone. We all have had those moments, and it’s okay to feel that way.
Did you hear that “moment” is not a forever thing? It always shows up when you don’t expect it to. Because of our constant ruminating over the conversation or situation, it lasts much longer than needed.
So, what’s the solution? We need to turn to the one who has all the answers-Jesus Christ. He lived among us in this broken world for 33 years, a time when the world was already broken. Our current situations may seem more intense due to technological advancements and societal changes, but the power of Christ remains unchanged.
Yet, we see in the bible situations we live in now. Adultery, murder, abuse, alcohol, and more are talked about in the Bible. The answer is there also. Jesus lived on earth and saw the heartaches we can encounter. Yet He was crucified on the cross to take all those away. The blood of Christ is powerful enough to tear down strongholds. Then, through His resurrection, people encountered Jesus for their sorrow (John 20:15), fear (John 20:19), doubt (John 20:25-27), and to show He cares for our needs (John 21:4-6).
When you find yourself overwhelmed to the MAX, remember to seek the one who understands and has the answers-Jesus Christ. As Matthew 7:7-8 reminds us, keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you. Keep turning to the Lord, and you will find the answers to all of life’s questions.
