Today’s thought I am pondering is “Jesus is my best friend”.
So here are my thoughts, Is He? What does your best friend relationship look like? How do you treat them? Is that how you treat Jesus?
So in the Bible says in Jesus is a friend of sinners in Matthew 11:19 and Luke 7:34. The word I never looked at is sinners. I believed Jesus was my friend, until I was having a conversation with a friend and she pointed out the for someone who is saved Jesus is Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:3; Romans 10:9.
Then I remembered back when I accepted Jesus and Him Crucified. The statement Jesus is the Lord of my life made me have questions. What does it look like for Him to be Lord. So I did a lot of “pondering”. Once I got it settled in my heart I accepted and turned my life over to Jesus as Lord.
