How Much is the Father’s Love

Scripture says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world (that is you and me).” Then, in 1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” And again, in Ephesians 3:18-19, “may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.”

This morning, I am without words.

The closest we can come to understanding how much God loves us all is if you have lost someone in the service of our country. Even though we know it could happen, we get the news afterward.

The pain God saw Jesus take for us is beyond imagination. To know this must happen to give us entrance into heaven when we die, Jesus had to go through so much for our future eternity.

Depth of God’s love for us through our sins, our emotions (when we are mad at God), and our sickness. He still loves us. In a world so quick to judge and get mad at another race or opinion. God still loves us.

There is so much more to be said about this. I feel it is someplace we need to ponder with GOD.
