Have you ever been to a new town and got lost? Or, while you are driving the same road repeatedly, wonder where you are because you are watching the road and not the road signs. Around you either look familiar or not. Either way, for a moment, you feel lost.
Life can be like this. We are so familiar with the world that we keep “truckin’” down the road. In a moment, you wonder where you are and must look at your surroundings to realize where you are.
Or you have been doing life and making wrong decisions, to realize one day just how lost you are.
Panic and then looking for help is usually our first response. One in Heaven hears you when you cry out, whatever your situation. He hears even the faintest of whispers for help.
Just as the good shepherd keeps count of his flock, so does God. He will leave the 99 to find the lost when one is lost. Matt 18:12-14
