We are all creatures of habits. Why? Maybe because I know how to do it this way? Or I have always traveled this route with my friends. However, there may be many roads which lead to the same place.
The old statement “Stop and smell the roses” is one to ponder. Are you always doing something the same way? You could be missing a blessing to get more done or to get there faster.
Romans 8:25 states, “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”
As we go through today and have “hope” for our agenda and goals, are we willing to wait patiently with God for it to show up?
We all need to slow down.
Loved ones are dying unexpectedly; the world is changing faster than we want. Let us let those important to us know they are seen and loved. Hug a single mom trying to make it through—love those with no one. We must slow down to see and do those random acts of kindness.
