What a beautiful day in the LORD.
Today, I am pondering a chapter most of you will know: Psalms 23.
This scripture has a special place in my heart. I may share more another time. In this chapter, you will see the character of GOD.
Psalms 23 KJV reads:
1 The Lord is my shepherd (Jehovah-Raah, the Lord is my shepherd); I shall not want (Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord my provider).
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters (Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord my peace).
3 He restoreth my soul (Jehovah-Rophe, the Lord my healer): he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake (Jehovah-Tsidkenu the Lord is our Righteousness).
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Jehovah-Ezer, the Lord is my Help).
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies (Jehovah-Nissi the Lord is my Banner): thou anointest my head with oil (Jehovah-M’Kaddesh the Lord who sanctifies me); my cup runneth over (El Olam the Everlasting God).
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever(Jehovah-Nachalah (the Lord my inheritance).
This is long, but I pray you can now see the characteristics of God.
IN HIM
