One who knows you best

In the past, I have had people say, “I know you better than you know yourself, Mary,” and another one said, “I will be a friend to you.” They meant well but did not and could not fulfill this. This sounds harsh, but let me explain.

Only GOD truly knows me. His word says He formed me and knew me (Jeremiah 1:5). I don’t believe anyone on earth can know us better than the Lord, for He understands all our thoughts.

As for being my friend, I got my hopes up, and finally, someone cared. I was putting my trust in another human who didn’t know how to be a friend as I didn’t. Our expectations, wants, and needs were different. It lasted for a while, but life moved on.

Romans 5:8: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This is someone who knows me and is a true friend I can count on no matter what.

If I have failed anyone who is reading this, please forgive me.

I encourage you to seek the one who truly knows you and your needs. GOD LOVES

YOU more than you know at this moment. He wants to show you. Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found.”
