We are getting ready to start a new year, and I’d like to see what New Jerusalem will look like. Geographically, Jerusalem is a town of 49 square miles. Israel is size comparable to New Jersey.
As we step into a new year, when we die as believers in Jesus Christ and Him crucified, this is where we will go. In Revelation 21:9-22:5 records John’s vision of Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:16-17 “And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.”
How big will it be? According to the KJV, in miles, it will be 1,500 miles long and wide and 1,500 miles high. Hard to imagine.
If a building is 12 feet per story, it will be over 600,000 stories high! One corner was placed in Los Angeles, the second corner in Mexico City, the third corner in St. Louis, Missouri, and the final corner in Edmonton, Alberta.
THAT IS BIG!
