Today, I am pondering some changes which have happened in my life.
At a meeting, Harold Eatmon, a prophet, said to me. What about the taking away, and the LORD says what about the taking away? What about the taking away? Why would you ask that about the taking w away? What is it about the taking away that should bother you, for I take away those things that are not necessary only to prepare you for a better thing? I never take away anything without giving you something better.
There is more, but this is what I am thinking about this morning. As I ponder the things that have changed over the past year, I am sad because I was used to how it has always been. God has a bigger plan. As this year has unfolded, I have seen Him bring better than I had in the past.
With that, I have two choices. Mourn the things I have changed or lost. Or embrace change; the outcome can be beautiful.
I have sat in the sadness for a while. The pour me attitude. You know what I am talking about. Then, the LORD showed me how much better has come around me.
As I write this, I think of the story of Job in the Bible. So embrace the change and the sadness for a season, but don’t pitch a tent and stay there. The world is BIG; GOD is a BIG GOD and needs you.
